And we are off

Leaving London cold for Sydney sweat. Couldn’t be happier, need this holiday. It’s also easy breezy going through the airport today. No people. Good thing with 30h travel ahead of us.

BloggerImage
Looking pretty sharp. I’ve slept all night. George haven’t after coming home late from work and packing. On the other hand, that means he gets to sleep for most of the flight. Good call him.
BloggerImage
Now for 30h of reading. And movies. And snoozing.
Speak on the other side.

The last leg

The last stretch before leaving tomorrow. Tonight have been spent packing (yes, I might have 5 pairs of shoes with me….), clearing the flat and taking selfies with the snap chat filter

BloggerImage
Time we’ll spent. Especially since packing took a whooping 3h. At least now I’m all done.
2.5w of holiday here I come!
Yesterday got a last hoorah celebration at Katta’s. She’d organised a surprise bday dinner. I thought it was only us but Eric and a couple of others where there as well. Awesome.

Cinnamon buns for dessert

Giving away my age…
BloggerImage
The perfect crew to celebrate your bday with.
And I promised some pics from Saturday so here goes. I was drunk so not that many pictures where actually taken. As expected.
BloggerImage
I did wear glowsticks. Of course.
BloggerImage
And got kisses from Amelia

My cake said shots
BloggerImage
And then I took toilet selfies. And that’s all I managed to capture on camera. Good thing it was an a awesome party.
But now. T-12 hours until we head for the airport.

Happy bday me!

Happy bday me! I’ll throw up some pictures from my party later but first…all things me and this pretty awesome Tuesday.

BloggerImage
Magic started yesterday when flowers from mum and dad showed up in the post. Feeling the love (and the missing) all the way from Sweden.
BloggerImage
When I came home from work George delivered all my bday gifts from the party. Loving Bens wrapping skills. Blue roll and bin bag.
BloggerImage
Containing gin. And I got some vodka as well. High five to making friends that know me.
BloggerImage
And a Star Wars puzzle!! Winning!!
BloggerImage
The rest of the night was spent with these two heroes. Because love and the best thing ever. George and me made bangers and mash. Delicious. A culinary success.
BloggerImage
Got breakfast in bed this morning. Thank you babe. It was massive so George had to eat half.
As for my gifts, in true Krastev style I’ve gotten them before. A tablet for my travels
BloggerImage
And a pendant with glitter. Because glitter is life. This look like a super hero pendant. I love it.
BloggerImage
Then I got to work and my colleagues celebrated me with cake and more gin. Feeling the love all around.
BloggerImage
Being very very happy.
Tonight heading to Katta for dinner. Not sure I can handle more awesomeness. But I can handle Katta’s amazing food. Yum!

Looking sharp (ish)

We are taking headshots in the office and they decide to go down the ‘natural’ photos while talking route. Which is great because they are always nicer.

Problem is when you are secretly an Italian and speak with your entire body.
BloggerImage
Which means all your photos look something like this.
BloggerImage
Or this.
Very me but maybe not so business. On the other hand. This is how I do business.
BloggerImage
Only time I’m still is when I’m listening. I can do that.
BloggerImage
But, all the animated ones are kind of nicer than the proper one. So I’ll just continue my quest to take serious out of business.
Today making cheese music list for my party.

Get ready for take off…

Friday!! So many good things to come over the following 7 days that I’m almost in lock down shock down mood.

Bday party tomorrow. After getting told Loves is closed and having to last minute panic fix everything (thank you for being a hero George) all the bartenders are now feeling so bad for me they are over compensating.
My party will be a glitter filled shots extravaganza in glowsticks heaven. What a way to turn 35.
BloggerImage
Yesterday was making myself pretty with a face mask. That smells crazy of chocolate. My hair still smells delicious. I wanted to chew my own face off.
Taking it easy tonight. Don’t want to blow the horn before tomorrow. I got invited to a Jamie Oliver dinner at little yellow door but nowadays I’m someone who says no in favour of the sofa. Secretly not too unhappy about that.
Tomorrow though. All guns blazing.

Birthday week starts without birthday venue.

Went on George’s round of bar in his ambassadors ship yesterday. This time in Notting hill. The memories.

BloggerImage
Started at the distillery where I got to go down into the basement and look at all the pretty things making gin magic.
BloggerImage
And look at the essences that actually makes the magic. Mmm, fennel…
BloggerImage
Because apparently my bday week started already yesterday George took me for dinner and then treated me to a lovely gin drink at portobello star. Deliciousness.
BloggerImage
Last stop was weird and awesome little yellow door. Felt like this upside down fox when it turned out the place for my bday party had been cancelled. To find a place for 40 people 2 days in advance in London is NOT easy.
BloggerImage
Tye and Rupali working the venue treated us to boob cocktails that tasted like candy and I was wondering how to wing the whole bday party thing.
BloggerImage
Katta came by and we had a couple of those delicious boob drinks.
Headed home around midnight and on the way back G got a confirmation that we can be in the private room of a pub up east. Woop woop.
So today sorting music, decorations, brain. I’m sure it will be awesome but I stress about these things so needed to re jig my brain to now be me hosting rather than being in a club.
Tonight home. Tired.

Lifeing

A week until we leave. Or, 7.5 :). Yes, I’m counting down like a crazy person. I need this holiday.

First bdaying. Honestly not really feeling it. Feel very ununicorny this year. But, there is a party to get started on Saturday so things are in motion
BloggerImage
Like ALL the glowsticks. And maybe 40 people coming to Loves. And me and George having the Saturday together. And no W! Love him but it means I don’t have to get up stupid early and walk him.
BloggerImage
Feeling quite power babe about this.
BloggerImage
Yesterday ate fancy food, fixed Aussie visa, got flight socks (yes, old) and watched some Netflix. Also got woken in the middle if the night by G somehow knocking the W painting from the wall and killing one of my unicorn bowls.
That made two down since the one I got from my mum died in the travels.
BloggerImage
But awesome boyfriend fixed both so now I have two sexy ones.
Tonight Wednesday drinks in Notting hill and getting myself drink ready for the weekend.

One year. And what a year.

I seriously danced this weekend. All in, glorious dancing. So very needed.

BloggerImage
On Friday met gamesys crew for oooaw party times. In sexy glasses of course.
BloggerImage
We got glow stick batons and ordered too many vodka red bulls.  Because good for you. And danced.
BloggerImage
I was in my best place. With my friends, dancing and not thinking about anything except fun. Love that mindless place.
BloggerImage
Lollo and Katta were also there
BloggerImage
And I brought 10 balloons with me into the bathroom cubicle.
BloggerImage
After oooaw we went to 2 more clubs before I took the wise choice if ordering myself home.
BloggerImage
On Saturday it was Gs and my anniversary. I ate popcorn in bed while he slept.
BloggerImage
And got us pizza when he woke up. Relationship goals.
BloggerImage
Stayed in bed until 7 when I gathered mr super powers and crawled out of bed to head up to Found for anniversary shenanigans.
BloggerImage
Everyone wanted to celebrate us with shots. And George got me my drinks in pint glasses. Good night.
BloggerImage
This guy ❤
BloggerImage
On Sunday I got pedicure and then G and me went to see fantastic mr fox in the lyric before dying in front of the tv.
Anniversaring well done. Now I just need to survive my bday party this weekend…

Off to go dancing at OOOAW tonight. I NEED a glitter rain. And easy listen pop music. And a vodka redbull.

This has been an ass of a week and I’m happy to wave it goodbye. I didn’t even remember this is how it felt. Thank god this is not standard any longer.
Katta is joining. And gamesys crew. And all my inner demons. We’ll have a blast.
BloggerImage
Tomorrow it’s our anniversary so the plan is to go to Found and on Sunday we are going to the theatre and then dinner home in front of the projector. That my friends is utter luxury when you barely see each other.
So London, see me and my demons rocking and rolling the city tonight.

Acting my age

Less than two weeks until my bday. 35. Half way to 70. George says I keep going on about it but it just feels so…not old but…final. Like I’m a real grown up. I mean, at 35 you are. A real grown up.

And in the spirit of being grown up we went for drinks yesterday in Hackney. Because life needs to be lived.
BloggerImage
Waiting for tommy at Oslo hackney. Enjoying time with my man. Because he is one sexy dude. And he makes me laugh all the time.
BloggerImage
Second bar is a newly opened place in hackney called every cloud. They have awesome drinks. And cherries soaked in cognac. Because the bartender is a hero I got two.
We stayed there for hours and drank one or two drinks too many.
BloggerImage
Since I don’t get hangover any longer I can do this and still rock up at work being balling.
Tonight aiming for a long walk with Katta. Don’t feel the sofa. Think I’ve become slightly sofa shaped in the last month.
