Easter is over. I’ve eaten my own body weight in candy and barely any eggs. I’ve done nothing eastery but it feels like I’ve spent every waken moment with George and friends. And that’s better than Easter any day.
Took Katta to the theatre on thursday. We saw the curious incident of the dog in the nighttime. It was amazing.
Then we went up to Found for drinks and after party at bens

Me fangirling to some guitar heroes. There is still a 14 year girl in me loving the guy with a guitar.

Also fangirled BIG time on Dave being an extra in the new Han Solo movie. Like a bit awkwardly so. He was hiding behind Katta. But I mean, seriously. #sorrynotsorry
When George wanted to leave I was the one stopping us because too much good

On Friday laid on the sofa with Charlie all day. Then conal swung by and I had my two kids there feeding them sweets and crisps.
But because you need real food as well took the kids and the dog to brewdog for deep fried dinner. Sorry body.

Saturday and George had the day off. Wooohooo. Me and Woolly left him and Charlie at home in the morning and went to the park to enjoy the flower petals and chase squirrels.

Warm enough to lay in the grass…

More endless sofa chill time. Until it was time to meet some of the east crew coming down west. Never thought I’d write that sentence.
We hung out at queens head all day before dinner at eat Tokyo and then bed times for this old lady when the others stayed up.

On Sunday George and me headed to Cambridge. Snoozy sausage.

We bought a bag of popcorn and a limoncello and went down to the river.

Got a bit tipsy. Who doesn’t love day drinking?

Then sightseeing, lunch and crashing for some sleep at the hotel. It’s hard work with 4 day weekends.

In the evening met up with an American couple for roof top dinner and drinks.

Hello Chris and Jen.
They went home and we went on. Met a random glitter guy straight out of a day rave and he bought us too many tequilas and wanted us to join him for an after party.
Since we are grown up and sensible (sometimes) we said no and headed home at 2.

Which meant we were ready for some country side walking on Monday. George got massive GF points for coming up with the idea.

We saw old houses

And followed the river for hours while avoiding cows and admiring ducks. Country side fun.

You can take the boy out of London but never London out of the boy. Shoes to walk in.

After a lovely day in the sun and with red noses to show for it we drank the last of our trusted limoncello and headed home to our beloved London.
Amazing getting out of town but even better coming back home.
