I went to Sweden. Landed in sunshine and got approached by a sun burnt happy man on the tube asking me if I wanted to date him since he had a ‘trailer and could come visit you wherever you live’. I said I lived in London. He didn’t have a comeback on that.
Then I headed out to Julia’s country house
With this little angel. 10 week old Agnes. And her parents. And the dog. Epic combo.
Sweden showed off. And a part of me dreamed of living in never ending summer nights. Until I remembered that like 1 day of the year.
Julia gave me a bag of swag. Books and candy. She knows me well. Or, her and my boyfriend know me well since they conspired on what to give me. High five to awesome friends and boyfriends.
Shadow decided that I was her human for the weekend and came to sleep in my bed with me. A bed for kids. It was tight.
Woke up to sunshine, this view and a very happy dog. Not sure who was more content, shadow or me.
We took walks and my Swedish soul ached seeing the pretty blues.
And me and Agnes chilled (her parents where there, promise. The camera just loved those chubby cheeks.)
I felt so welcomed and relaxed in this little happy family. Love when people you’ve known long enough to be never letting go important meet and create other amazing humans. And dogs.
Hello little one.
Then we had bbq food, drank beers and talked life.
On Sunday shadow decided that George’s gift was hers. By stealing it. Fair enough.
I said my goodbyes and headed into town to see the family for mums bday. We had really nice food at Luzette before it was time to say goodbye to Sweden for this time.
But not without my trusted lemon pepper.
See you soon Sweden. Next time I’m bringing my man.
