Drinking our way through Soho

Since I’m not really ready to let go of that last bit of summer yet I met with george and some other people for drinks last night.

I’m getting ready for fall, buying kicking leaves shoes and knitted jumpers, but first a couple of more nights of careless dancing.
BloggerImage
We started with dinner at bone daddies. Brothy, tasty ramen. They know what they do when they give you a bib. The goodness go everywhere.
BloggerImage
Then we met with Liam and Mandy at swift. We were a dream in matchy colours. Maroon 4.
BloggerImage
Then our tour of Sohos best bars took us to the Vault. I love that place since you have to go through a bookshelf to get down to it. My kind of rabbit hole.
BloggerImage
Next stop was Boston 68. Where we got some weird shots followed by champagne (only the best when you are out with bartenders). Mine was followed by cider. Because less fancy and more of an English mess.
BloggerImage
The shot delivery man. A happier sight when you are not working the day after. But, still pretty balling.
BloggerImage
Then we went to see this hot piece of Australian – mike, at Reverend JW Simpson.
BloggerImage
He made me a drink of everything good in life. It tasted like sunshine and crayfish. It was a testament to my maturity that I only had one.
BloggerImage
And because my man only treats me to the very best he took me to Burger King for nightfood.
BloggerImage
I lucked out and got 3!! patties in my burger. Winning.
Then we stumbled home through a late night London hand in hand talking about how lucky we are to have found one another. Yes, cheese galore.
And that is how you can spend a Wednesday in London. Not too bad if you ask me.

A hello from Sydney

I received a lovely message from Sydney (hi Gina). The gift I made as I thank you for our time there finally arrived.

Only 6 months late :).
BloggerImage
A book of photos from our trip to Sydney. I know how much mum and dad always appreciates the photo books I make them.
BloggerImage
They don’t make these kind of awesome faces though. Dad, you guys have to up your game.
It’s hard having people you love in so many different countries. But also a blessing. It’s never something bad having too much love.
Speaking of love. George and me are meeting friends tonight going for a drink. Coming back to London reminds me how happy my life is here.
Luxury.

Being parisienne

Back home in London. Must admit im dreaming of a quieter autumn life now with candles, blankets and tea. Yes, totally buying into the idea. I love fall. And it means Christmas is just around the corner. And we all know how I feel about Christmas (grinning like an idiot

and contemplating how many gifts I can bring this year).
France was lovely though and we had an amazing time at Jeans place. I took pretty much all my pictures on the camera so it will have to wait.
BloggerImage
This is us arriving
BloggerImage
Mid party (yes, I brought all the glowsticks)
BloggerImage
And leaving saying goodbye to the castle.
It was as fun and crazy as last year and Jean’s parents hosted us for 3 days. Heroes. We stayed up late, slept most of the day and spent hours by the bonfire trying to find songs all us different nationalities could sing.
On the way back to Paris the car broke down
BloggerImage
We were stuck in the middle of the countryside.
BloggerImage
George and I stayed away from the french instructions, trust me, that was for the best. George is becoming a massive potter fan and can’t stop reading stranded in french countryside or not.
BloggerImage
Eventually we got taken to a station hoping a train would pass by.
BloggerImage
Taking some sexy child pose photos while we wait.
BloggerImage
Eventually the train came and took us back to Paris. Celebrating that with McDonald in this Mecca of food. Don’t say george don’t treat me.
BloggerImage
We schlepped our asses over the jeans grandmas flat in central Paris and strolled the streets for a bit just enjoying the street life. On nights like those I don’t actually hate Paris :).
BloggerImage
Paris is the perfect size for Bulgarian mountain men.
BloggerImage
On Monday morning we made sure to not miss out on this years most important happening – GoT season finale. Being Paris don’t stop the world from happening.
BloggerImage
Once done we left the house, checked out George’s favourite building
BloggerImage
Found a book tree (I want one!!!)
BloggerImage
And read some more Harry Potter. Because you know, massive fan.
BloggerImage
Paris gave us a sweltering hot, lovely summer day and I got to eat all the ice cream I wanted. That’s the dream guys.
BloggerImage
We met up with jean and Natalia and walked some more. Jean being an excellent guide taking us to our goal.
BloggerImage
Dinner at our new friend Louis place. I had ceviche for starter and steak for dinner. Might have been in food heaven.
After all the food, and the most sweaty asses in the world (who puts leather seats on chairs in 30 degree heat?) we rolled home to get some sleep before early train back to London.
And that is the last of the bank holiday weekends before Christmas. But first, all the candles and blankets and nights on the sofa.

Paris times. Again.

It’s raining in Paris today. Pouring down. No wonder since I bring rain wherever I go. But it’s warm and Friday so I don’t mind.

BloggerImage
This is the view from Jean’s family’s apartment in Paris. Lovely. We went for a drink last night and then I was sensible and went home because work today.
But now, no more sensibility. Bring on debauchery and crazy times.

See you in a couple of days

Taught my colleagues kubb yesterday. It was a roaring success. My team lost, of course. Tried to warn them I’m shit, not my fault if they don’t listen.

BloggerImage
Love that everyone likes kubb, or skulls and bones that I tell them it’s called. The skulls and bones of our Viking enemies.
BloggerImage
After playing we went for dinner at the polish place. Where I took no pictures. But met an awesome nerd girl who love all the same books as me.
High five to nerd people.
Off to Paris today. Most likely means no updates until Tuesday. Because we will be frolicking in the french countryside.
BloggerImage
I’m sure it will be as much fun as last year.

The end of the line

Going to France tomorrow. Sucking the last of this never ending summer. Need a couple of days of sun and warmth before I’m ready for fall. But, I might have bought a couple of new smelly candles to help me ease into winter.

BloggerImage
Me on the sofa. Standard. I’ve started watching this awesome series called Good girls revolt and it’s about the women in a newsroom in the late 60s and their struggle for equal rights.
I’m so glad I’m living in the 21st century.
BloggerImage
Kisses with mini man. Today I’m playing kubb with my colleagues and then we are going for dinner at the polish place. About as much action as I can handle.

Team Sass

George and me have been working on our team name. Up until now we’ve been Team Gayjoy (said with a Swedish j) but for many reasons it’s not awesome. Mostly because Greyjoy. And because it’s somewhat weird.

So we decided to come up with a new one.
BloggerImage
I started with some more, but cooler, GoT references. And the cloud because let’s face it, we spend most of our time in bed.
BloggerImage
Following that theme – snoozy sausages are what we are most of the time.
BloggerImage
Then it became a bit weird. We have to stop with the evil team names.
BloggerImage
Team Ass? Not so sure about that one.
But then. Eureka! Team Sass. Sexy, awesome, snoozy sausage. Pretty balling team name.

Glitter bonanza

Another slow summer London Monday. After this week things should be back to normal but we have one last one of total lazy. Sweet. Ending this week by going to France so not too bad.

BloggerImage
Thursday last week I worked from home and had a slow day with Woolly. Then george and me went to meet Ella and Lola for dinner and drinks.
BloggerImage
Woolly don’t look to happy in this family photo. Poor little dude.
BloggerImage
Then we went back to ella and stans and ended up drinking too much gin. Because summer and loving the gin and tonics.
BloggerImage
Lola doing some posing. Very pretty doggo.
BloggerImage
Then Stan came back and ella broke a glass with wine. That was the call to end the night.
My hungover thanked me the day after.
BloggerImage
On Friday was round two. I was meeting gamesys crew and Seb had his bday party. Feeling rough.
BloggerImage
But knowing I had to survive until at least 3 when george got off work went straight on the serious stuff.
BloggerImage
Having an awesome time with these beauties. High five to old work mates.
BloggerImage
Then we went to Found and got all glittered to waiting for george to get off work. Loving the glitter!!
BloggerImage
There was also a photo booth. And damn you Dave for pushing my face away. But also, as Lollo said, the most cissi picture ever.
BloggerImage
6 in the morning sunshine home time. Good night. Also dead by this point. Thank you redbull for giving me the energy to power through.
BloggerImage
Saturday was covered in glitter in bed. Not too bad.
BloggerImage
Until I had to walk W. I’m a hero sometimes.
BloggerImage
In the evening dinner at Lollo’s. We all felt like this.
BloggerImage
Yesterday I did like 4 hours of walking and george stayed on the sofa all day. Didn’t leave the house once. Totally deserved. I fed and watered him and W. Taking care of my hairy heroes.
Today quiet times.

Atomic blonde

Went to see atomic blonde in the cinema yesterday. It was awesome! Got all excited about becoming a bad ass. Until I realised it would take lots of exercise. Maybe not after all.

BloggerImage
After that we went for a drink at little bat in Islington. I took absolutely no photos so this is one of my fairly fresh face today. You are welcome.
Tonight dinner at Katta’s, loving her home cooked food. Me and Woolly both. George opted for the stay at home and play video games option. Everyone’s a winner.

Coming in late and loving it

I’m being so bad at the moment. Can barely get out of bed in the mornings. Lazily cuddle up to my sleepy man for an extra 30 min. It’s too hard to leave.

But it’s a luxury. Being able to do that and to want someone’s arms around me that much. So I rock up at work late but happy.
BloggerImage
This is our lives at the moment. George surprised me with Turkish and we watched GoT while Woolly passed out on the floor.
It would feel boring if it wasn’t so perfect.
