Lovely having mum and dad in town. And somewhat exhausting :). I might have fallen asleep for a good 3 hours after they left. But mostly just lovely.

On Friday we met at the hotel. As always. My parents like their traditions and this is certainly one of them.

Katta joined for drinks and snacks. She had dressed up for the first meeting with the elders. As she said ‘we are taking the next step in our friendship’.
My parents love her so success.

After a couple of drinks we hiked the long trek up to east London for dinner at petit pois.

George joined looking dashing in shirt and tie.

Mum was not impressed with all the photos being taken. Even if she loves the end result on Christmas…

Dinner done and dusted. We couldn’t even finish the chocolate mousse. Poor form.

Stu joined us at Found. First time for the parents at this cocktail heaven.

Happy faces all around. How not when you are drinking a curious George.

Hot stuff.

Ending the night with a family photo on the street. Or, the parents ended the night. George and me met up with my colleague and went to a hippie club in dalston called passing clouds. As you do.

The next day we met at Westfield’s for shopping and Christmas feeling. Dad and Christmas trees, two if my favourite things.

Super mega fancy lunch at the food court.

Looking almost fresh even if this was followed by the sleep and then heading up to Notting hill for all the drinks. But that will be the next post. Need to keep you guys reading.
