Good luck george!

George is competing in the gin off final today. Amazing! They started with 18 brands 5 months ago and now we are down to just the two of them.

Go george and kyrö!

This weekend I dragged him to the Swedish Christmas market. I was beyond excited and got through the market like a pro.
BloggerImage
George looked a bit tired by the end. Like a kid hiding away.
BloggerImage
Then we celebrated with drinks. George always making sure to be in the picture.
BloggerImage
After drinks at the Larrik and the Westbourne we ended up at trailer happiness where Rasa did her best to get us hammered.
But we got a pina colada (seriously the best one I’ve ever had) to go and left at midnight. Yes to us.
As for my Sunday I just Christmas chilled. Because almost December.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Here’s a little Sunday hello from a icy cold and beautiful London.

Woolly and me are on the sofa watching the new Anne from green gables on Netflix. Loved those books when I was a kid and I’m not disappointed of this version. Strong women in the beginning of the last century. Also, Anne was me as a kid, too much imagination and loved too read book.
BloggerImage
So here I am eating raindeer sausage and watching Netflix while george is snoozing in bed. Perfect Sunday morning.
BloggerImage
I’m also getting the house slowly Christmassy one little bit at a time. Bought these cute little pine cones at the Xmas market yesterday.
BloggerImage
The little old woman who made them came up to Lollo yesterday and hugged her for buying them. As the big sappy I am that almost made me cry.
BloggerImage
And my Lucia train. Since I miss Lucia yet again this year since I’m going to Paris this will have to do instead.
Soon out in this crisp weather for a walk with Katta. It’s a good thing my boyfriend and my friends like different things so I have time for everyone when they need me.

The subtle hint to get fit

I know I’ve sucked at updating this week but it’s because I’ve done minimal effort. For real. Zero fun.

I was sick in the beginning of the week and then I’ve been taking it easy to give my body a break. While George have been gallivanting around W and me have been keeping the sofa safe.
BloggerImage
Cutest sofa companion though.

My colleague at work gave me a Fitbit smartwatch. I’m happy because i wanted a Fitbit but it also means I a) have to give up my beloved cluse watch and b) get fit.
So my plan is to use it for a bit and when I get my bonus buy a normal Fitbit and gift this to George. It has calendar reminders. That would save his ass.

Other than that nothing much. Meeting George for lunch and then Swedish Xmas market tomorrow. Very chilled. I need my Xmas spirit back now that moving has taken over my December plans.
Time for some Xmas music!

They got married!

I’m back in the land of the living. Had some weird kidney pain over the last two days and it scared me a bit so I’m going to take it a bit easy now. Think my body is trying to tell me something.

BloggerImage
Trying to stretch my back out. Didn’t help.
BloggerImage
On Friday I had dinner with these two heroes and Masken. We ate fries and felt very continental hanging in the pub.
BloggerImage
Since the baby parents went home at 8 I headed up to Found and hung out with Stu. Around midnight he introduced me to the dream that is salt beef bagel from brick lane.
Where gave you’ve been all my life?
BloggerImage
On Saturday jean and Natalia got married!! So amazing!
BloggerImage
I posed like a pro as always
BloggerImage
Natalia looked lovely and jean aced his French look.
BloggerImage
We then went to the pub and drank ciders and celebrated.
BloggerImage
It was a long day…
BloggerImage
After 14h of drinking I gave up and headed home. It was time.
BloggerImage
On Sunday I dragged myself out of bed to hang with these two. Best way to cure a hangover.

Baby Agnes in town

Welcome Friday! It’s sunny, cold in that crisp autumn kind of way and Julia, masken and Agnes are in town.

Yes boi!
BloggerImage
Got to see them yesterday as well. Baby smell is the best. Look at those chunky legs.
We drank beers, talked about the state of the world and gossiped. Love having my best people in town.
Tonight we are going to a pub. Masken requested ‘a place where I can wear sneakers’. Said and done. We are hitting Notting hill for some food and ciders.
BloggerImage
Woolly will be away for two nights so stole all the cuddles I could last night. Sorry furball but you have no choice.

On another note, we are now being told off by our communication tool on gender neutral communications

I’m impossible to forget

I came into work this morning and this big, lovely bouquet of flowers were waiting for someone

BloggerImage
Sneaking a peek I saw that it was to someone called Cecilia….gerstel…
BloggerImage
Close but not me I thought until I realised there are no other cecilias in the company.
Hm. Secret admirer guessing my name? George playing me a prank?
It turned out the be Optimove thanking me for speaking at their conference. Lovely. Just getting my name wrong 🙂 I must have made an unforgettable impression.
Tonight off to see Julia’s and her family here in London. Baby times!! And Julia times! Yes!

Status update

I read all night! Well, one of george friends staying with us came to leave his bag and I had to walk him to the station to deliver him to George (really, wtf!?) but then I was back ass down on the sofa.

Bliss.
I feel like it’s almost rude of work getting in the way of my reading. My only saving grace is that I have another unbooked night for the importants of life.
BloggerImage
So don’t worry guys, you know where you’ll find me…

It’s here

The new Sanderson book came out today. You’ll find me on the sofa for the coming days. I’ve sent George and Woolly away for 100% reading time. Wonder if I can inject my dinner.

BloggerImage
I’m pretty excited about this.
BloggerImage
On Friday I went to Found and hung out with this banging crew. I drank a lot of cocktails. It was a night for that.
BloggerImageMe and stu sent angry photos to Katta for not being there. But they weren’t really angry, we just missed our third musketeer.
I was hungover all Saturday and George took care of me. Then he made Katta and me dinner and we watched dark knight. He won at being a boyfriend. He is always awesome but this was extra awesome. He made us mashed potato…
BloggerImage
On Sunday I walked the mini wolf and came home to George speaking to his parents. This is he perfect Skype outfit. When no one can see below the waist. I’m loving the pants and unicorn slipper combo though.
BloggerImage
Then we grabbed stu and went to queens head for Sunday roast. Don’t get more London than that.
BloggerImage
Yesterday was almost sunny, and freezing.
BloggerImage
I schlepped lots of bubble wrap home
BloggerImage
And then W and me waited for George to come home from his fancy dinner at liams.
That was all folk, now READING

Friday!!

Another week over. This week has been endless. Dragging on and on. Work has been a nightmare and my brain a mess.

But Friday today and I’m heading to Found to hang with stu and drink dreamy cocktails.
BloggerImage
All in preparation for starting the packing tomorrow. Our move is a month away but the weekends are pretty booked out so we thought we would get started with the fun.
BloggerImage
We were both home by 6 yesterday. Wooooo!! What crazy things did we get up to with all that time?
Yeah, you guessed right. We watched series and chilled on the sofa. What November is made off.
BloggerImage
He is pretty damn sexy my man.
Have a great weekend everyone. See you at the other end.

I am currently in the UK

I’m at hard at work trying to reach my Christmas weight. It’s not the same as normal weight, it’s 2 kg less than what you weigh so that the 3kg you gain over Christmas only leaves you 1kg up.

I normally fail on this. So far this year nothing new. I’m gourging on ginger bread dough and wear loose clothes. As god intended for the cold season. But aim for the stars they say so I’ll do just that.
BloggerImage
George and me tried this yesterday to see what our phones says about us
BloggerImage
I’m clearly all lives up and miss George a lot. Seems legit.
BloggerImage
George on the other hand really, really, really want to live in UK. Like freakishly so. Ok buddy, you got it.
BloggerImage
This is a man who currently lives in the UK.
BloggerImage
Then I had a couple of meetings that left me exhausted so ended up on the sofa with W waiting for George to get home.
BloggerImage
But he had to work late so lit the candle I got from him and chilled out eating all that ginger bread dough before bedtime.
So long Christmas weight.
