Soon the start of pimms season

Friday! Let’s celebrate that with a party selfie

BloggerImage
Who would us modern people be without our selfies to show how happy we are?
I’m off to out of office tonight with swede crew. Need to dance in glitter rain.
BloggerImage
Yesterday it was 20 degrees in London. Not kidding. It was too warm in my sweatshirt.
BloggerImage
I worked outside in our garden for an hour. Making life about 150% times better.
Then Katta and me took a walk and it smelled of flowers everywhere.
On Sunday it’s the Cambridge Oxford boat race, the official opening of the season. I’ll make George wear red trousers and tweed and we can go down and lajv being posh people.
It’s also the official start of pimms drinking. Just found out that pimms is based on gin. That’s why it’s the nectar of the gods.

Daffodils like tiny suns

It’s going to be 20 degrees in London today. And I’m wearing a sweater. Without anything under. Poorly played.

I have however bought a pair of pink trainers to see me through the summer. Cheap though so expect them to be a short lived fashion thing. Because love shoes, have no impulse control and own way to many.
BloggerImage
The flat is pretty though with blooming daffodils (don’t mind the fact that we still have a stripped down walk and builders stuff everywhere).
BloggerImage
Made pasta excellence with all my Abel and Cole. Lemon, olive oil, Parmesan and sunflower seeds. Yum. Sweetie ban is going well. Never feel any health benefit but snack less and eat healthier.
BloggerImage
Me and Woolly chilled and read books.
BloggerImage
And not too late George came home from work and we watched What about Bob and had a celebratory drink for hopefully some good work development for him.
BloggerImage
Then he checked out my bum.
Tonight walkies in the warmth. Have I told you lately I love London?

Down into the man cave.

Good night yesterday. And day. Walked 20k and 4.5h. The upside of having a dog. Downside is that is still haven’t been to the gym I signed up to before Christmas. Bad Cissi.

Me and George went for an after work walk with Woolly and then to eat Tokyo to meet up with Josh. Trying to hang out with friends down west way. George is a machine when it comes to meeting friends and this is his goal right now. I’m just along for the ride.
BloggerImage
After dinner went to Brew dog. I had sweet mead. It was delicious.
BloggerImage
The boys played games. I tried to sneak out and go home but I was caught out and waited until they were done.
BloggerImage
One home George went down into his man cave. Yes, it’s starting to happen now. It’s like 100 man points having a man cave.
Today booked a trip to Amsterdam with the girls in April.
BloggerImage
Maggie looking very happy about that.

Thumbs up!

Sunshine and pea soup

I know it’s getting a bit old but I can’t stop gushing about this weather. It’s so lovely being able to take a walk during lunch and feel the sun on your face.

So that is what I did yesterday. Ate lunch at home but then took an afternoon walk sneaking in a couple of minutes on the grass.
BloggerImage
Work morals going to shit. Who wants to sit inside when you’ve got sun on your nose?
In the evening made myself the most Swedish of dinners
BloggerImage
Pea soup with tunnbröd and Finn crisp with leverpastej. Delicious. Some serious gastronomic experience right there.
Then George came home and we watched Legion. Like a normal couple on the sofa.
Having him home tonight as well. Almost too much. Maybe I realise we really don’t have that much to say.
Nah, kidding, George ALWAYS have something to say.

Star Wars and dancing

What an awesome weekend. So good it’s even a great Monday. Yes people, you heard me right. It’s a sunny, lovely, not too tired Monday.

BloggerImage
Met with gamesys crew on Friday. We went to Found (not my idea) and Tommy came by as well. We even went dancing. At totally weird place trapeze only playing RnB but what’s a girl gonna do to get some dancing.
BloggerImage
On Saturday woke George up and made him go out in the sun with me. We had ice cream (doesn’t count on my sweetie ban. You just can’t ban yourself out of the years first Mr Whippy) and read books in the sun.
BloggerImage
You know you’ve gone full English when you dream of this totally fake but delicious ice cream.
BloggerImage
Sunshine reading.
BloggerImage
Nothing is sexier than a man and a book. Fact.
BloggerImage
Walked home through spring London and George headed to work and me to the sofa. Even if I was Woolly free couldn’t make myself leave the house.
But on Sunday woke George up again to head to Greenwich for the Star Wars identities exhibition. Because awesome nerds.
BloggerImage
Met my favourites
BloggerImage
And enacted parts of the movie.
BloggerImage
Listened to lots of interesting facts
BloggerImage
And met our heroes.
After the exhibition walked into town to meet up with mike and Amelia. Since we are adventurers walked down a closed off path and got to some fences to climb. First one all good. Second one realised I’m 35 in way too tight jeans and told George no way. But, he convinced me I had what it takes and with a boyfriend boost (leg up and holding on to my ass(bet he loved that) at the shaky top) I escaped with my life.
BloggerImage
After a couple of ciders in the pub went back to mike and Amelia’s and George threw Oscar around like a super hero.
BloggerImage
After a lovely weekend woke up this morning to my flowers from George. Yeah, totally sappy moment but flowers kind of always make a girl happy and between that and fence climbing sexiness I might just have the best man.

London life

What a crazy 24h. Yesterday we had a, what is presumed to be, terrorist attack here in London. Not close to me but the whole city goes a bit crazy when something like this happens.

After work I went home to cook dinner for conal who swung by for a catch up. Lovely to see him. Later in there was a motor bike stolen on our street so the police popped by for some questions.
London life.
BloggerImage
Walked W this morning and got asked out for a date by a hot guy I’ve seen a couple of times. I was wearing sweatpants and no make up. Looking fabulous. Even if I kindly declined it was a nice ego boost on a grey Thursday.
BloggerImage
Came into work and got the cutest tiny candles from my colleague back from holiday.
I do have an awesome team.
I have however pulled my back so can barely sit up. You win some you lose some.

Me and the boys

I was home all weekend and to be 100% honest, it was pretty boring. The weather was meh and I don’t have a boyfriend to slouch on the sofa in sweatpants with so it was me, myself and I. I am pretty fab but still.

So last night went out for much needed social time. George was working the bars of Bethnal Green and me, Dan, Lee and Stu joined. Me and the boys.
BloggerImage
George got an awesome gift from Lee. Pictures from his bday party. Not long now before lee and me are going to see Galantis which was my bday gift.
We had a couple of drinks and dinner at Resident (delicious food) and then Sun Tavern before giving up and heading home around 11.
Today London is freezing and raining and I’m going to stay home. Conal might be swinging by and keeping me company. Love talking to him, not only is he a sweetheart but he is also so young. Was I ever that young?

Stay strong

Told you I decided to go sweetie and snack free for a month. Needed when you start whining ‘I need cakes’ on a daily basis in addition to the candy you are already eating.

Too bad I took decision when my Ocado delivery with Swedish goodness arrived.
My candy cupboard now looks like this
BloggerImage
Yes, the crisps can’t fit and had to go somewhere else.
This will be a long month and proof of my willpower.

A much needed sweetie ban

Yesterday it was Katta’s bday. Happy birthday lovely!! We went for dinner at the Ivy.

BloggerImage
George and his girls.
I was feeling iffy all the day and worked from home. George thought it was my newly formed no sweetie and snack ban for a month. I’m pretty sure it can’t make you feel depressed that quickly.
The day before we got a crew together around ours to go for a walk and play some basketball (just a wait for the pub).
BloggerImage
George was happy playing barefoot basketball. Biggest smile on his face ever.
BloggerImage
Leanne fell in love with Woolly and wanted to steal him. He seemed pretty happy with all that attention.
BloggerImage
I made chocolate balls for Asrin. Because taste of the childhood for a fellow swede.
Hence sweetie ban for a month. My body had started craving the sugar. Then I know I need to go off it for a while. Since I am fail I’m getting an Ocado delivery today with bilar, dill chips, delicatobollar and cheese doodles. Only going to have to wait for that for a month….
Maybe for the best with me fixing 3 holes on Friday. For £750. Not cheap being addicted to sugar.

Chillin

I’m having a weekend at home. Much needed after all these birthdays, holidays, more birthdays, Paris etc. Yeah I know it, living a hard life.

BloggerImage
I wore puffy arms and new glasses on Friday. Even if you are staying home it’s nice to dress like an 80’s dream.
BloggerImage
Me and woolly ate sushi and stayed in bed. We can live the quiet life if we have to.
BloggerImage
George came home late and because he is sleepy and snoozy we had breakfast and chilled on the sofa by ourselves. Need no man (except when it comes to disconnect the dishwasher, then we definitely need a man).
BloggerImage
After the chillin we went to the park. It’s very pretty at the moment. Woolly chased squirrels and I contemplated summer holidays. Still have no idea.
BloggerImage
Fluffy pink prettiness.
Going to wake my man up soon and make him join me for beauty and the beast. That might make this Saturday even more bad ass awesome.
